Getting a late start in her career at age 41, El earned both her Nail Specialty and Esthetics licensures. Being in the beauty industry had always been a dream of hers. As a young wife and mother of three, the care of her children, responsibilities, and day to day life made it difficult to pursue. El’s early career spanning almost 20 years, was in customer service and retail. Helping people and problem solving has always been a core characteristic.

They asked her "How did you become so strong?"
She replied, "I had no choice."
After the tragic death of her son in 2014, El was lost. When the time came to “rejoin the world” she decided to reinvent herself and go back to school. Originally, esthetics was the priority and nail care was a close second. El’s first job in the industry was mainly esthetics with a focus on Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal.

It was only after accepting a position at Indigo Nail Spa under the ownership of a woman who would become her guide, friend, and greatest ally, that she found her true passion, helping people through skilled meticulous nail and footcare. Over the next five years El learned, honed her skills, and was the Spa Manager for four of those years.
A couple of years later, in 2019, El began interning under Donald Green and learned of the Certified Master Pedicurist (CMP) distinction. Donald’s mentorship, extensive knowledge, and enthusiasm encouraged El to complete the CMP course and earn that distinction for herself later that same year through the North American School of Podology. In 2024 & 2025 she returned to complete the necessary course and practical work to become a Certified Podologist, just like her mentor.

In 2024, with the support of her family, El felt confident in taking her career into the next chapter; Opening Elevated Nail Care. El’s drive for quality nail and foot care is only equaled by her focus on cultivating a strong healthy natural nail canvas to create beautiful nails that show off her client’s personality and make them shine from the outside in.
